The hotel is old but well maintained. I like this Showa era style. The room is spacious, with good lake view. The staff are very polite, helping carry luggage and bowing to welcome guests.

You pay more for a superior twin room but the size, decor and view are superb. A beautiful combination of Japanese style and Western comfort. I only know about rooms in the main building. If you seldom splurge, do it here

Nice ryokan with tons of amenities in the hotel. Clean and the onsen was very nice.

Great property with wonderful public bath. Great breakfast. Have bikes to rent to explore. Convenient to museums.
